Tirupati has water bodies and forests, apt for Birding and Birding photography. We have scheduled a guided Birdwatching trip. Guide is a local person with good knowledge in birding and birding hotspots. We have two packages as defined below.
1N2D Package
Option A - Bring Your Vehicle Package or Carpool after registration:
Cost is Rs. 3999 Per Person for a group size of 4 and above on twin or triple sharing stay. INCLUDES 2 sessions of guided Birding , 2 nights of 3* Hotel Stay and taxes. EXCLUDES Transport and Anything else.
Option B - With Transport
Cost Per Person is Rs. 6999 for a group size of 5. If the count goes up, you will get Rs.250 per extra person as a cash back into your bank account subject to the maximum of Rs.1250 for this trip. Cab can pick you up from Chennai within the radius of 20KMs of Guindy Metro.
INCLUDES AC Vehicle (your Chennai to Chennai round trip), 2 sessions of guided Birding (Talakona, Outskirts of Tirupati), 3* Hotel Stay at Pai Viceroy / Hotel Mount View Comforts EXCLUDES Anything else.
2N3D Package
Option A - Bring Your Vehicle Package or Carpool after registration:
Cost is Rs. 6999 Per Person for a group size of 4 and above on a twin or triple sharing stay. INCLUDES 3 sessions of guided Birding (Tirupati, Mamanduru & Talakona), 1 night stay at the log hut of Vanadharshini at Talakona and 1 night 3* Hotel Stay and taxes. EXCLUDES Any Food, Transport and Anything else.
Food is not included as there will be a birding trip early in the morning. Cost includes stay for the Guide at Talakona.
Option B - Trip with Transport
Cost Per Person is Rs. 11500 for a group size of 5. If the count goes up, you will get Rs.400 per extra person as a cash back into your bank account subject to the maximum of Rs.2000 for this trip. Cab can pick you up from Chennai within the radius of 20KMs of Guindy Metro
INCLUDES AC Vehicle (Chennai to Chennai round trip), 3 sessions of guided Birding (Mamanduru, Talakona, Outskirts of Tirupati), 3* Hotel Stay at Pai Viceroy / Hotel Mount View Comforts EXCLUDES Anything else.

Cancellation Rules:
- Talakona Stay -15% deducted in case cancellation done more than 3 Days of accommodation availability date i.e., 12:00 AM and no refund if cancelled within 3 days.

Birding Itinerary:
Day 1

Cab to start from Chennai around 9 AM.

Reach Talakona by 2 PM after lunch

Check in at the stay in Vanadharshini (2 log huts that can accommodate 4 adults total and 2 dorms). Prior booking is required. So, please confirm your booking asap. In the evening, do Birding with a Birding guide. Return to the place, have dinner and take a rest.
Day 2 first half

Do birding in the morning with the Guide. After Birding, visit Talakona waterfalls on your own.

Leave Talakona
Day 2 second half (Tirupati 1n2d package participants to join)

Reach Tirupati, check in at the Hotel in Tirupati

Do birding in the evening at Jungle book Tirupati.3 to 6 pm session

Back to the Hotel, Dinner on your own and overnight stay at Tirupati
Day 3 - Birding at Mamandur Forest

Cab to start from Tirupati around 6 AM along with Birding Guide and with packed Breakfast.

Reach Mamandur Forest by 7 AM, Have Breakfast and start doing Birding.

Birding will go on till 12 Noon. Lunch on your own.

Leave Tirupati around 3 PM with loads of birding photos and fine memories and reach Chennai by 7 to 8 PM.
Mamanduru boasts unique fauna like Slender Loris and the Golden Geko (reptile) are found only in these hills. In Seshachalam hills, an astounding variety of Fauna and Flora abound in the dense forests surrounding this Holy Shrine. Secret Canyons, perennial springs, cascading waterfalls, centuries old tall tress, caves, prehistoric rock paintings are located off the beaten track and are reachable only by Trekking under the canopy of dense jungle on footpaths known only to the local tribal and the experienced Trekkers. It has composer Annamacharya walked on this path for a darshan of Lord Balaji. There is a trek route to Mamanduru.
