Proposed Itinerary Day 1 Bhubaneswar - Puri Upon arrival at Bhubaneswar Airport/Railway Station, travel to Puri & en-route visit to Dhaulagiri is one of the famous Buddhist destinations in India, where Mauryan Emperor Ashoka renounced the path of violence and embraced Buddhism, after witnessing the devastation of Kalinga war & also known as “Peace Pagoda”), Pipili (Applique work village), then check in to the hotel & relax. After a fresh up evening visit to 12th century world famous Jagannath Temple (one of the four dhams, Only Hindus are allowed inside the premises of Jagannath temple), enjoy at golden beach (Amazing sceneries of sunrise & sun set), back to hotel & overnight at Puri. Day 2 Puri-Chilika-Puri After breakfast proceed to Chilika(It is Asia’s largest brackish water lake & spreads across 1,100 sq km . The lake is a winter hub of many spectacular migratory birds. The view of sunset & sunrise is a delight to watch). Arrival Satapara meets the Irrawaddy Dolphins in nature and the Sea mouth (Meeting point of sea & lake (the point where the lake meets the sea). virgin island, birds island. Then back to Puri, enjoy at golden sea beach, then free time for shopping, back to hotel & overnight stay at Puri.  Day 3 Puri - Mangalajodi or Puri After breakfast, drive to visit Mangalajodi (is also known as the heaven of water birds. Its vast wetlands attract thousands of migratory birds, journeying from as far as different places of the world. Its wetlands now host more than 1.5 Lakhs of birds in the peak season. November to March is a good time to visit for enjoying an amazing experience. Its importance as a significant global wetland habitat and declared as an International Bird Conservation Area), enjoy the boat riding, Stay will be at Mangalajodi Ecotourism Cottage or Mangalajodi Bird View Resort or Puri as preferred by the guests. Advangage of staying at Mangalajodi is proximity. To come from Puri, it takes around 2.5 hours for 75 KMs. Day 4 Mangalajodi - Konark-Bhubaneswar Do early morning Birding and after breakfast check out from hotel then drive to Bhubaneswar en-route visit to Ramachandi Temple, Chandrabhaga Beach(cultural and traditional identity of Orissa, which is famous for its long stretch of golden sand bordered with casuarinas), Sun Temple(The temple was built by King Narasimhadeo in the 13th century, it  is counted among the 7 wonders of India, famous for world heritage site & also known as “Black Pagoda''),  then check in to the hotel & relax. After fresh up visit to Lingaraj Temple(Dedicated to Harihara, a combination of Lord Shiv & Vishnu, this temple was constructed in the 11th century, by Jajati Keshari, a Somavanshi king), Mukteswar temple(This temple that this become famous as “Gem Of Odisha Architecture''),  Khandagiri & Udayagiri Jain Caves (Old rock cut caves, built by Mahamegha vahana Aira Kharabela), Kalabhumi Art & Craft Museum. Back to hotel & overnight stay at Bhubaneswar. Depending on the interest, we can cover Nandankanan Zoo(This zoo is famous for variety wild life sanctuary & also famous for white Tiger & Lion Safari(Closed On Monday), visit Ekamra Haat, free time shopping at Local Market. Day 5 Bhuvaneshwar - Bhitarkanika Reach Bhitarkanika and check in at the stay place.  Bhitarkanika is India’s second largest mangrove ecosystem after the Sunderbans. Bhitarkanika is home to the largest congregation of the endangered Salt Water Crocodile in the country. Thousands of birds colonise the creek for nesting and the aerial acrobatics performed prior to the mating makes for an impressive sight. Bhitarkanika is also home to eight varieties of Kingfisher birds which is also a rarity. The erstwhile hunting porch of the Maharaja adds to its heritage value. The last sighting of the Asiatic Cheetah is recorded from Mamanduru Forest. Mamanduru boasts unique fauna like slender loris the golden geko(reptile)which are found only in these hills. In Seshachalam hills, an astounding variety of Fauna and Flora abound in the dense forests surrounding this Holy Shrine. Secret Canyons, perennial springs, cascading waterfalls, centuries old tall tress, caves, prehistoric rock paintings are located off the beaten track and are reachable only by Trekking under the canopy of dense jungle on footpaths known only to the local tribal and the experienced Trekkers.  It has composer Annamacharya walked on this path for a darshan of Lord Balaji. There is a trek route to Mamanduru. Point Calimere Wildlife and Bird Sanctuary (PCWBS) is a 21.47-square-kilometre (8.29 sq mi) protected area in Tamil Nadu, South India along the Palk Strait where it meets the Bay of Bengal at Point Calimere (Tamil: கோடியக்கரை Kodiakkarai) at the southeastern tip of Nagapattinam District. The sanctuary was created in 1967 for conservation of the least concern blackbuck antelope, an endemic mammal species of India. It is famous for large congregations of waterbirds, especially greater flamingos. International name: Point Calimere Wildlife Sanctuary,The 7-square-kilometre (2.7 sq mi) core area of this sanctuary has been proposed as a National Park. Hornbill Nest is a Homestay with just 4 rooms but the bird hides or observatories are set up by Kiran Poonacha.  Kiran Poonacha, being an enthusiastic birder and wildlife photographer, has set up observatories where one can enjoy seeing many birds and small animals at close quarters .
