IMPORTANT NOTICE

Tourism Tax

With effect from 01st September 2017, Mandatory Tourism Tax (TTx) will be imposed on all hotel room rates on a per room per night basis to be paid by every guest staying in the hotel(s) in Malaysia @ RM 10.00 per room per night ( Including complimentary room & early check in – if taken ). The amount shall be either collected from the guest upon check in ( FIT ) or the same can be billed on to the invoice raised to the respective agent ( GIT ) . The TTX is a mandatory tax structure imposed by the Government of Malaysia.

Sales & Service Tax

With effect from 01st September 2018, Mandatory Sales & Tourism Tax (SST) will be imposed from 6% to 10% on selected services ( including Tourism Sector ). This amount has already been included in your above quote accordingly. The SST is a mandatory tax structure imposed by the Government of Malaysia.

Genting Cable Car & Theme Park Entrances

With effect from 01st April 2017, all tour busses are not allowed to operate till the Genting Highlands  Hilltop during the new Awana Genting Skyway Operating Hours ( 0700hrs till 1200 midnight )

Passengers will be dropped off and picked up at Awana Bus Terminal ONLY

Baggage storage pricing : Genting is imposing a baggage storage charge at RM 20.00 Medium Locker ,  RM  40 – Large  Locker & RM  60 Extra Large locker  / 24 hours. This amount is to be borne by guest.

Cancellation Policy

  • Genting Hotels – Full cancellation once RECONFIRMED ( Guaranteed ) , any amendments or cancellations wont be entertained
  • Sunway Hotels / Kuala Lumpur Hotels  / Malacca Hotels – 14 days
  • Langkawi & Penang Hotels – 32 days
  • Full cancellation will be imposed prior to arrival date
  • All bookings have to be reconfirmed before the dateline given to you, otherwise rooms will be auto released
  • All the hotels are charging surcharge during this period but the dates are yet to be finalized , any addition of surcharges in the later part of the booking once the rates are given, agents are still obliged to pay so accordingly

Transportation

  • Any pick up between 2300 – 0600hrs is liable for midnight surcharge 50% per vehicle. Not included on the above given rate, will advise accordingly upon receiving the flight details from your end
  • KLIA or KL to Genting Highlands , enrooted Batu Caves Photoshop , MAXIMUM 20 MINUTES ONLY
  • Airport Pick up NO SHOW will be charged FULL AMOUNT ( Maximum 02 hours waiting )
  • Kuala Lumpur Hotel pick up NO SHOW will be charged 50%
  • Timings should be followed accordingly for SIC tours & transfers in order not to keep other guests waiting
