👤About the Curator - Dr. Aarti

  •  Academician - Have been teaching Art, Art History, Architecture, Archaeology, Iconography, Indology, and Ethno- archaeology.
  •  Doctorate in Ancient History and Archaeology, Study of musical instruments depicted in the miniature paintings of Rajasthan, M.A. in Indian History, Culture, and Archaeology 
  • Contributed to research publications 
  •  Author of 5 books and the co-author of book - South Indian Murals 

About Chennai Museum

Chennai Egmore Bronze Gallery houses 1500+ Bronze Artefacts, largest in the world. Oldest is 3rd CE Four fragmentary Buddha figures excavated at Amaravati in Andhra Pradesh.
