Arakku Valley is a hill station in Visakhapatnam district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. Arakku is located in the Eastern Ghats about 114 kilometres (71 mi) from Visakhapatnam. The Anantagiri and Sunkarimetta Reserved Forest, which are part of Arakku Valley, are rich in biodiversity and are mined for bauxite. Galikonda hill rising to a height of 5,000 feet (1,500 m) is amongst the highest peaks in Andhra Pradesh. The altitude is about 1300 m above the sea level. The valley spreads around 36 km.

Day 1:

  • Cab pick up at Visakhapatnam airport  and check in hotel

  • Leisure and sightseeing for the rest of the day out of the places given in Appendix.

  • Overnight stay at Visakhapatnam

Day 2: 

  • Depart to Railway station by taking a cab on own

  • Cab pick-up at Arakku railway station, Check in at hotel, local sightseeing as per Appendix

  • Overnight stay at Arakku

Day 3: 

  • Check out hotel at Arakku, Cab pick-up from Hotel and local sightseeing as per Appendix 

  • Cab drop at railway station and take a cab

  • Stay at Visakhapatnam

Day 4:

  • Depart to Airport at your own vehicle
